FABULOUS FRIDAY! Mornin' Cali!
Mornin' gang . . .and HAPPY WEEKEND (well almost)!
We have Michelle T having surgery today - we have Diane on a countdown for next week's new back, we have a dragonslayer who WON the war . . . we are just amazing. OK . . . that is about all I can handle for a shoutout . . . I would have to take notes all week in order to be able to do this . . . my apologies to all for my inadequicies (sp).
Tonight after work I'm heading up to see Michelle and make sure she is following doctors' orders . . . she should actually be at the hospital already getting set for her procedure.
I'm working both days this weekend . . . but the next two weekends I'm off . . . first for the CA Losers Camping trip (wahoo), and then to do the Relay for Life walk the following weekend. It's a 24 hour thing . . . we don't each walk for 24 hours, but are supposed to have someone from our team on the course for the entire time. I'm one of the ones staying the full 24 . . . I'm a glutton for punishment sometimes.
Have a great weekend . . .sure hope I'm not typing over someone else again . . . but it's just great that lots of people DO start the morning post . . .

Good morning Chris & Everyone,
Today is my Saturday and Sunday all in one, but one day is better than none. I have had a migraine for 3 days, I am hoping it stays away and goes away all together today. I really dont want to do anything, but I have to, I will do as little as possible. I am working the weekend and praying we dont have to go into mandatory overtime again!!
Oh well gonna go drink my coffee and slowly wake up.

Good morning Chris and Cali,
Well we made it through the day with the bosses, but now we will have to be back in Petaluma for probably another 2 weeks. So that takes me to the middle of August! Oh well, at least I will make Gold status at the hotel!
This week I have been a little off track, forgot to pack my tennis shoes so could not walk. I swam one day but the weather has cooled down quite a bit so that it was too cold for me to swim anymore. It seems since I have lost this weight I am always cold now!
I need to make sure I pay attention to what I pack for next week. There will only be 2 of us here so I will walk in the evening with my co-worker so he does not go alone.

Well Michelle T, should be in the waiting stages of her surgery now. I believe her surgery is at 0730. I know what she is feeling. My surgery is also to be at 0730 in the morning, and I so hope that the doc doesn't change it. The nurse said sometimes he goes through the schedule. Later today I am going to post a picture of what they are putting in my spine. I am actually getting 4 of them, and yes I will beep at the airport. Now they need to wand my back, my two knees and my right shoulder. I AM DONE with this crap, my body needs to just be happy and stop this, the weight is gone, and instead of wearing out any longer it needs to be happy that there is not all that pressure.
As for the weekend, NASCAR! Next weekend too, at least I will be out of surgery and ready to watch it. We were supposed to go to New York for a wedding in Oct and the doc said yesterday, probably not, but everyone takes to recovery different. I am hoping that we can go, I have been planning this for over a year, but I will listen to the doc.
Well everyone, have a great day, and yes TGIF! No matter what you do, have a great time, even at work, you can smile no matter what you are doing.

Just a quick good morning from here. I've got my coffee in front of me and need to start the day and get busy here. Luckily, yes, it is Friday and we are still on summer hours so I'm out of here today at 3PM. I actually might leave earlier, but we'll see.
Not a whole lot on the agenda for the weekend. Helping a friend move some things tomorrow and then we are following that up with dinner. Should be a nice evening. Always is with this couple. Being in their home is like being wrapped in a warm, welcoming blanket. I say it all the time to Mike that we are so lucky to have such wonderful friends as they are.
Sunday will probably be laundry and cleaning up around our house. Might take a break during the day and go over to the gym for some sun and pool time. We didn't open our pool this year and I'd like to get some pool time in this summer before it's over. And that is about all my weekend has in store. Oh and trying to catch up on some of the sleep I missed this week.
Hope everyone has the very best weekend they can have and it is filled with everything you want to do and remember, do something nice for yourself.

I'm still having work done here at the house... today is day two of plumbing...then, finishing the framing. Next week should bring drywall (not my fav, because of all the dust with the sanding!) and soon, tile on the floor... paint...and bathroom! Just thinking of it makes me have to go, LOL... ewww...i know.... sick!

I am thinking great thoughts and saying my prayers for Michelle as she is probably just finishing up or close to it now.
Today brings lunch with former co-workers to say g'bye to another co-worker who's position was eliminated. She was fortunate enough to have landed a GREAT job and there is no one more deserving than she. So it will be fun to see everyone again.
This weekend will be low key, I do need to pick some peaches from our tree as a branch broke because of the weight, but it's my wonderful tree that despite being hacked and broken gives me that BEST peaches year after year. Every other year it goes nuts with peaches and this was the year!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, doing something nice for themselves!

Happy Friday.. just one more week and I will be on my Mammoth Vacation, can't wait. I will be very sad when it is all over though...
Jus****ching the clock for my 1 year post op blood test, the fasting one. Boy am I hungry and thirsty, tell someone they are unable to eat or drink and that is all you want.. come on 9:30!!!
